Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya has mentioned that the country will be producing about 28 crore vaccines by the end of October and the process will be ramped up in this manner quite easily. The minister has also stated that nearly 73% of the adult population has received at least one of the doses of any vaccine. 29% have received the vaccines of the second dose as well. This is a hopeful sign for the nation as it continues to reach milestones in the entire process. The minister has also stated that the vaccine production in the month of October will be 6 crores more than what it was in September.
100 Crore Vaccine Doses To Be Administered By October
97 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far and it should not be late that 100 crore vaccine doses will be administered very soon. No other country has been able to match with the speed of vaccination that has been taken up by India. The remaining people have been asked to come forward in order to take their vaccines in the respective centers. Most people have also declared their satisfaction with taking the vaccine in their nearby centers. None of the states are complaining now about the shortage of vaccines.
