The vaccination drive in India has already reached every corner of the country, vaccinating more than 66 crore people. Now, the time has come for the special vaccination drive in the nation which will provide vaccines to the more needy section of the society. Manoj Pochat, the coordinator of the vaccination drive and a prominent leader of RSS has informed that the vaccination process will be carried out to the slums and lower grade colonies to make sure that the people are vaccinated from these areas well. This can be done only with the help of the community-based organizations and the NGOs which are functional in that particular area.

Information By Pochat For Special Vaccination Drive

Pochat has also informed that the initiative will target people who are not well aware of the ongoing drive. The entire process is taken up in order to help the below-poverty people, daily wage workers and the rickshaw pullers in different parts of the country. 

The initiative has been welcomed with open arms since these people are deprived of the very basic commodities in the city as well. It might be difficult for these people to access the vaccination process within their areas. Hence, the special vaccination drive will be targeted in order to help with their immunity against the pandemic.

Taking The Help Of NGOs

Pochat has informed that they have been able to locate 15 groups that are ready to participate in these endeavors. These NGOs have worked at the grassroots level, and they know how to convince the people scientifically in order to get the vaccine. The team of special vaccination drive is supposed to partner up with these organizations in order to carry out the special vaccination drive as well. This initiative will help to speed up the vaccination process as well. Most of the people in the targeted communities have a very strong immune system. Once they are vaccinated, it is less likely that they will ever succumb to the disease.
