Want to know who’s busy? Apple is. The next-generation ARM chips are being prepared by Apple. Reports have suggested that Macbook Air 2022 can be powered by the great M2 chip. Not only that, Apple is busy improving the M1 processor as well. M1X, the improved version of M1, could equip the new 14 and 16-inch Macbook Pro.
All About M1X And M2 Chip
The powerful M1 chip of Apple was produced by TSMC’s 5nm process node. However, the M2 chip is reported to be produced by TSMC’s 4nm processor note. Apple users should start getting excited as the upcoming 4nm node processor means more power and efficiency.
A total of eight cores are expected to be featured in the M2 chip. These eight cores are expected to include four high-performance cores along with four more cores that are energy efficient. The processor will also feature improved graphic cores.
Keeping aside the size of the nodes, both Apple M1X and M2 will have 10 cores in their CPU. Apple M1X might contain 32 graphic cores while M2 will have a lower number of graphic cores.
The 2021 lineup of the Apple MacBook Pro includes the launch of the M1X processor.
By this fall, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 13 models which will be followed by the launch of a redesigned Macbook Air in 2022. According to a report, the 2022 Macbook Pro of 14 and 16 inches has gained entry to mass production and can enter the launch lineup later this year.

iPhone 13 Rumors
