Global Participation
The Art show was organized on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The exhibition displays modern pieces from 50 galleries from 31 countries. The show brought back memories of the old days when art lovers came together to celebrate contemporary art. The visitors to the gallery were all decked in designer clothes or alternative fashion.
The visitors to the Dubai art exhibition were also spotted around the town in all the expensive locations. The show is organized to restart international trade and tourism in the desert city. The artistic director of the show Pablo del Val described it as an emotional and fantastic moment. He also mentioned, “Art Dubai was the first art fair to be canceled, just when the pandemic started, and now it’s the first to be back live”.
What Was Different?
Apart from the designer clothes and art lovers at the Art Dubai 2021, the only unfamiliar element of the show was masks. All the art lovers were seen wearing designer and authentic masks to maintain social distancing.
Since the world is still struggling with covid, the art show was like a breath of fresh air for all art people. The artistic director also said, “I think everyone was looking forward to stopping looking at screens and having a physical relationship with a work of art.”
