The Central Board Of Secondary Education, CBSE has declared their results today, ie, 22nd July 2022. According to reports, 94.4℅ of students have passed the class X examination under the CBSE. Though 94.4℅ of students have passed the exam, it’s still a worry for the parents and schools because the percentage is much lower compared to the previous year’s 99.04℅. 

A total of 2109208 candidates registered for the CBSE class X board examination, out of which 1976668 have cleared the final test! Mayank from UP is declared as the CBSE Topper For 2022. Here are the details of the CBSE Class X Board results. 

CBSE Class X Board Examination Students’ Performance

As per the CBSE Class X Board results, this year CBSE has not given equal weightage to both the terms. While the first term of the CBSE Class X board examination had 30℅ weightage, the second term has the majority of 70℅, though the practicals of both the terms bore equal weightage.

According to reports by the CBSE, this year girls gave tough competition to boys. While the percentage of boys passing the class X examination is 93.80℅, the same for girls has gone up by 95.21℅ for 2022! Girls outshined boys by 1.41℅ this year in the CBSE class X examination. Additionally, 64,908 students have scored well above 95℅, which is a matter of pride for CBSE! Besides, about 2.36 lakh students have scored more than 90℅ in their class X finals! 

CBSE Topper For 2022

Though the CBSE has announced that it will not publish the merit list for the students who have passed the class X examination, it is known from reports that the CBSE topper for 2022 Class X examination is Mayank Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, Noida. Being a student of Amity International School, he has secured 100℅ in his CBSE Class X final examination. 

Reports suggest that in 2022, Trivandrum has recorded the highest number of students with the best pass percentage of 99.68, followed by Bengaluru, Chennai, Ajmer, Patna and Guwahati. Check how to check CBSE Class X Board results here.
