The Lakhimpur Kheri event had shocked the entire nation. In fact, the sheer effect of this violence was so much that the son of a prominent Union Minister was arrested during the period. There are continuous probes in the story till now and it has been assessed that the son of the minister might be indeed responsible for the entire incident. The Union Minister, Ajay Mishra, and his son, Ashish Mishra were accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.
There are some other BJP leaders who were arrested during the investigation because of their involvement in this particular case. They have in return lodged a case against the protesting farmers stating that they were lynched by the protesting mob!

It was alleged that he ran over his car over some of the farmers who were protesting against the farm laws which were supposed to be passed during those times.
The block director of the Kheri district has informed that he is taking appropriate steps against the people who have been accused in this case. The farmers who were blamed for the lynching are also being investigated in order to understand the course of events in the actual incident!

There are certain moments when the judicial system of the country is tested against the odds. The application for the bail of the BJP workers has been rejected for now because of the decision taken by the judicial house. It is expected that the farmers will get the justice they deserve in this case.
