There has been a rapid surge of cases in India since the last week, and this is quite concerning as it might be pointing towards another pandemic wave in India. Covid cases have been low in India ever since the fatal second wave and it is quite concerning that a surge has been seen over the past few days. This has also been established that the increase in cases is limited to the state of Kerala as of now. There have been some concerningly high numbers in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra as well. The national capital is yet to suffer the blow.

Statistics Of Present Covid Cases
There has been a rise of at least 7.5% in the covid cases in India over the last week. Kerala continues to be the epicenter at present. The central government has tried its best to come up with solutions to put a stop to the third wave before it emerges in the country. The initial rate of infection had been decreasing over the past few weeks. The rate had decreased to a hopeful 14%. This was added to the achievements of the nation in being able to control the situation. However, the increment in covid cases is quite harmful as of now.
Matter Of Concern
It is worrying that Kerala has seen such a great rise in the total number of cases. On the other hand, it would’ve been a cause of relief that the disease is confined to a specific state, but Kerala has been spilling cases from its core to the other places of the country as well.
