Covid cases have started to reduce in Delhi over the last month because of the rigorous lockdown norms followed all across the city. The government has decided to begin the phase of lockdown from 31st May. As the death rates have started to fall below 2% in the national capital, Kejriwal’s government has announced that the city will undergo the unlock phase considering the situation of daily earners. Delhi Government announced that factories and construction works would start in the capital as soon as the first stage of lockdown is removed through Delhi Unlock.  

Reluctance To Continue To Lockdown At The Price Of Economy

Arvind Kejriwal has announced that his government does not wish to impose the lockdown for more than a necessary period. As soon as the spread of coronavirus is restricted within the city, the authorities will try to bring back the stable lifestyle to people. It will be crucial for the economic growth of the country as well. Kejriwal has further added that the authorities at Delhi will try to lift the lockdown in gradual steps so that labourers and daily workers find their livelihood as soon as possible.

Delhi Unlock From 31st May

The government has stressed the reopening of factories in every part of the cities and allowing all kinds of daily work from 31st May. The unlocking phase will continue on the advice given by the experts and through public understanding. The AAP government has taken a great initiative by considering reopening the services through Delhi Unlock so that people can go back to their normal lives but with enough precautions.

Rate Of New COVID Cases Reduces In Delhi After Lockdown

Since the number of new Covid cases has reduced to a relieving 1.73%, the Kejriwal government has decided to lift the lockdown so that the economy does not suffer any longer. They further added that one could not expect the lockdown to continue for several months at a go like last year. The government needs to be considerate towards those who do not have the luxury of staying at home. They also assured that their government would try to vaccinate the entire population of Delhi so that the Delhi Unlock process does not lead to a fresh rise of cases.
