Common Seat Allocation System is the admission portal of Delhi University for undergraduate admissions. Recently, after the  CUET Result 2022 UG has been declared. Now, the CSAS application form can be filled out before the announced CSAS 2022 registration last date. Those candidates who pass the DU admission 2022 criteria can fill out the form that is then followed by the DU Preference filling process. DU admission 2022 last date is yet to be announced however classes will begin on 1 November 2022..

DU CSAS Application Fee

The CSAS application fee for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS is 250 rupees while SC/ST/PwD is 100 rupees. If candidates apply for ECA or Sports Supernumerary Quota (if the DU admission 2022 criteria are met), then an additional fee of 100 rupees must be paid.

How To Apply For DU CSAS 2022 Admission 

Candidates who passed the CUET exam shall fill out the CSAS application form to be considered for admission to the University of Delhi. The application can be made only through online mode.

CSAS 2022 Registration Last Date Announced

The portal for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) has been open since September 12 and the CSAS 2022 registration last date is 3rd October.

Phase 1 – CSAS Application Form

The candidates have to apply for the UG program and provide the necessary details requested in the CSAS application form.

  • Visit the official website:
  • Search for the CSAS registration link on the homepage.
  • Choose the UG admission merit list
  • Complete the CSAS application form.
  • Upload all the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the application fee required.
  • Click Submit.

Note: The name, photograph and signature of the candidate will be auto-generated from their CUET application form. The other personal details provided in the CSAS application form cannot be changed. So, the candidate must be cautious while filling out the form. Don’t forget the CSAS 2022 registration last date is 3rd October.

Phase 2 – DU Preference Filling Process

The candidates must choose their preferred programs and colleges in the following manner before the DU admission 2022 last date:

  1. Select The Program You Want To Enrol In

In DU preference filling, candidates have to choose the program they want to enrol in from the CSAS dashboard. There is no limit to the number of programs the candidates may choose.

  1. Confirm Your CUET Merit Score For The Program You Select

For all the programs they chose, if they are eligible (i.e if they meet DU admission 2022 criteria), they have to confirm their CUET merit score.

  1. Choose The Preferred Combination Of Programs And Colleges

Candidates must be careful while selecting their preferred program and colleges as the order in which they select the combination will be considered as their order of preference. The candidate can always reorder the DU preference filling list before the CSAS 2022 registration last date (October 3rd).

  1. Confirm The Preferences

Candidates must confirm their preferred program and college and the order of their preference on or before clicking ‘submit’. If they don’t, the preference order they last selected will automatically become the confirmed order of preference when the portal closes for DU admission 2022 last date.

Phase 3 – DU Seat Allocation and Admission 

In the last phase of CSAS, seats will be allocated to the candidates. Delhi University is yet to declare the cut-off marks.

  • CUET score must be more than the cut-off marks.
  • Eligibility (Candidate must have passed class 12)
  • No. of vacant seats.
  • Marks scored in the tests relevant to the course you choose.
  • The admission policy of the university, etc.

Classes Start November 1

The Vice Chancellor of Delhi University has said that classes will begin on 1st November after DU admission 2022 last date. According to him, this is the first time that UG admissions are being made at Delhi University based on CUET scores. Delhi University has 79 colleges for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
