Highlights

  • CBSE: class 12 results will soon be declared on 31st July
  • The final class 12th results of the CBSE board will be decided on the basis of class 10th, 11th, and 12th marks
  • The students who are not satisfied with the evaluation will be allowed to give the exam later.

Given the condition of Covid-19 all over the country, the CBSE authorities have decided to cancel the board exams for classes 10th and 12th this year. The results will be declared with the help of exams that have already been taken. The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has decided that the marking criteria for the students of class 12th will be in a 30:30:40 ratio, as per the scores obtained in class 10th and 11th final exams, and 12th pre boards. The performance in the exams which have already been taken in the past will be considered when the final marks of class 12 results will be tallied.

Present Scenario Of The Country

It is indeed very sad that a true evaluation cannot be done for the given year because of the rising number of cases across the country. There was an effort to stop the exams by the Union government, and this was supported by several students and guardians. The 12th exams are not usually held in schools in which the students have originally studied but in various other centers. This might cause the need to travel and stay at other places, which is not quite possible at the moment. Hence it was decided by the experts that the 12th and 10th exams will be canceled.

This further gave rise to the question – What will happen to the class 12 results? The class 12 results are immensely important for getting admission into colleges and other higher education institutions.
