The farmers who have been protesting in Haryana for a long time now have called for a gherao in the mini-secretariat of Karnal. This is to be organized on 7th September. Advisories have also been made for the traffic control points of Karnal.

The police have announced that there will be certain route diversions in Haryana on 7th September so that common people do not end up in the middle of the protesting farmers and the police authorities. NH44, which is the route for Ambala-Delhi, might be facing some form of severe traffic disruption. The general public is asked to use the alternate routes on 7th September to avoid mishaps of any kind. The state government has devised some elaborate plans in order to divert the traffic of Karnal. The police have appealed to the farmers to carry out their protests under the regulations of law and order. They have warned that severe action will be taken against those who attempt to disrupt the peace and order of the area.
