The farmer leaders of Punjab and Haryana are tough nuts to crack. Despite all forms of barriers that are presented to them by their governments, they have continued to stay in their stand of revoking the farm bills. The farmers have decided to continue their protests in the Tohana town of Haryana. The agitating Haryana farmers had surrounded the house of a BJP MLA for the controversial agricultural laws made by the government.
The Arrest Of Two Haryana Farmers
The government has already come across to be harsh towards these protesting farmers. The district administration did not receive consensus on the arrest of the two farmer leaders, Vikas Sisar and Ravi Azad, last Wednesday.
The protests started when the government did not pay any heed to the requirements of the farmers regarding the arrest of these two leaders. Since there has been a failure of talks, the Haryana farmers have decided to gather at the police station and show their protests for four hours on this day.

Apology Of The MLA To The Farmers
The MLA has already apologized for the comments he had made against the farmers during their protest. Rakesh Tiakait, the prominent face of the farmers’ protest, has accepted the apology and has demanded the immediate release of the two farmers who were arrested during these proceedings. Since the MLA has already shown his regret over the behavior that he had extended over the farmers on the day of protest, it is the legal responsibility of the police to let go of the farmers they had arrested. The farmers have also announced that they will be holding the dharna process as long as the police do not release their comrades.

Is It A Bit Too Harsh?
The chief complainant against the farmers is the police force itself. Therefore, it should not be an issue to release the farmers arrested during the protest.
