Hundreds of farmers have gathered in front of the house of the Haryana Chief Minister in order to demand the release of a farmer leader. Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana Chief Minister, has his house surrounded by hundreds of farmers who are demanding the release of the farmer leader who had been arrested while traveling to Uttar Pradesh.
Gurnam Singh Charuni was arrested in Meerut when he was traveling to Lakhimpur Kheri. Four farmers had been killed in Lakhimpur after the protests had turned violent in Uttar Pradesh. Several people have been arrested on their way to Uttar Pradesh as well.
Reason For The Gherao
Another group of farmers from the same Union has blocked the highway in Karnal. Charuni had been one of the most prominent faces in the protest against the three farm laws. He has been responsible for keeping the movement alive in Haryana. He faced several actions against him from the Haryana Chief Minister before as well. It seems that nothing can break the indomitable spirit of the farmers in Haryana.

Visuals Of The Haryana Chief Minister’s House
The visuals have shown that the farmers have been protesting outside the house of the Haryana Chief Minister. A line of police SUVs has been parked outside the house in order to create a barrier. The Haryana Government has stated that the farmers are not ready to get into any kind of discussion that might lead to a change in the scenario. There have been several complaints against the farmers over a period of time. This has created tensions along the Delhi border as well.
The farmers at the Lakhimpur Kheri district have held off their protests for one day and have stated that they will cremate the bodies at ground zero. They will not be entertaining any kind of interference from the government at this moment.
