Karthik scored his maiden half-century in the T20 format and his outstanding knock of 55 runs in 27 balls helped India to reach 169/6 after 20 overs, a total that looked out of reach around the 13-over mark.
Dinesh Karthik continued his good form and his Man of the Match performance has made him a serious contender to be picked for the T20 world cup.

Anchor Inning: Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya continued his great form in the T20 series vs South Africa. Hardik handled the pressure after a disappointing start of the inning and yet another struggle of team India in middle overs. Hardik alongside Karthik has played the anchor inning of 46 runs in 31 balls and guided India to set the target of 170.
His IPL performances this year have helped him to play more responsibly and, in his ability, to handle pressure. This is great news for the team India as over the last few years India has been struggling in the middle overs.

Avesh Khan after a disappointing start in the series as he wasn’t able to pick a single wicket in the first three T20s.
