There have been several restrictions over the use of Chinese apps in India from the last year because of the security concerns raised by the government. Many of the apps were removed from the Indian Google Playstore. A new problem has arisen for the students who are studying in China. At least 20,000 students who are studying in the medical colleges of China had to return home during the pandemic. The classes are being conducted online with the help of Chinese apps which are banned in India. This has created a dilemma for the students.
Banned Chinese Apps In India
Nearly 250 Chinese apps are banned in India at the moment. The students are complaining that their universities are forcing them to download apps that are no longer available in India. The mobile applications that are required for these students to carry out their courses are all Chinese and this has created a major issue.

Issues Faced By The Medical Students
The universities are using apps like WeChat, DingTalk, and Tencent Video Communication for the students to manage their courses and study. The Indian students in China or ISC are facing the maximum issues from both Indian and Chinese authorities. They have to attend their classes now with the help of Virtual Private Network. This is not conducive for the students in any scenario!
