Despite a splendid performance by Jason Holder, Sunrisers Hyderabad is struggling to stay in the competition in the Indian Premier League 2021. This season has been absolutely wretched for SRH and they had been nearly wiped clean by Punjab Kings in the match at Sharjah. Punjab Kings were able to bag a 5 run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad through a disciplined performance in bowling. SRH was almost forced to move out from the playoffs itself because of the poor performance they have given over time. Even now, they have only a very slim possibility of remaining in the game for long.
Holding Back Punjab Kings At A Modest Score
Sunrisers were able to stop Punjab Kings at the modest score of 125 for 7 wickets, all thanks to the West Indies seamer, Jason Holder. He has emerged as one of the most successful bowlers of this season with three wickets in this very match! Sandeep Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar had provided adequate support to Jason along with Rashid Khan and Abdul Samad. Despite this great performance by the bowlers, the team had lost more than fifty percent of their players in the first 13 overs of their innings. The score was stuck at a mediocre 60 at this point.

On-Point Batting By Jason Holder
Jason Holder had turned out to be the savior in batting as well. He scored 47 runs out of 29 balls and remained not out till the end of the game. However, even his great efforts could not save the team from meeting a devastating loss in the end. His efforts did win him the Player of the Match award, however. The best performance was given by Ravi Bishnoi who had given away just 24 runs and had taken 3 wickets in the process. Even the sluggish Sharjah pitch could not stop him from doing so!
