J&K Government Employee Sacked After Celebrating Pakistan’s Victory

The Indian Pakistan match has always been a high voltage one for the people from both nations. The last T20 match in which Pakistan had gained victory over India has led to some controversies within the inner segment of India. It had been rumoured that some of the Indians had celebrated the victory of Pakistan over the Indian team. Among these, a J&K government employee has been sacked from her job. 

It has been done because she has spoken up in happiness about the victory of Pakistan on her WhatsApp status. The event took place in Pir Panjal valley in Jammu division.

Order For The J&K Government Employee

The order for the sacking of J&K government employee had been mediated by Dr Brij Mohan of the Government Medical College. Rajouri. Safiya Majeed was a theatre technician and she was terminated from service after a viral video had been posted on WhatsApp after her celebration for the win of Pakistan. 

It has been alleged that the activity indicates that the employee was disloyal to the nation. Where once, allegations like this would have stuck with the person. This time, the termination has been true. It is also probable that the government will issue an UAPA against the employee in the way it has been done against the students of Kashmir.

No Disloyalty Towards Nation

The order which has been brought up has mentioned that no employee will be allowed to become disloyal towards the nation at any cost. The authorities have alleged that the Jammu and Kashmir government employee had failed to join her post after taking a casual leave for five days. 

They have mentioned that this has contributed towards their decision to sack her from the post. No prior notice was served by the female employee as well. It has been accused that there were several people who celebrated on the streets for the victory of Pakistan.
