The farmer’s protests have gained quite a bit of leverage against the government in regards to the changes made in the Farm Bills. The farmers have been known for holding their own parliament outside the Parliament Building in order to mock the proceedings inside the rooms. According to the news, the women will be holding the upcoming Kisan Sansad at the farmers’ protest. The farmers of India have been protesting against the Farm Bills at three borders of Delhi for the last three months now. The borders of Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur have had a mass of farmers protesting against the farm bills quite vocally.

Permission To Protest
The farmers had received permission from the authorities to protest in front of the Jantar Mantar last week. The monsoon session of the Parliament has already begun and the farmers have decided to hold their protests right in front of the political leaders of the country to have more of an effect. They have been allowed to protest at the Jantar Mantar till the 9th of August. However, permission has been given for weekdays only.
Importance Of Mahila Kisan Sansad
The Mahila Kisan Sansad will be held in order to show the importance of women in the field of agriculture, and how they serve a purpose in the world of agro economics as well. The step has been quite appreciated in most parts of the country. It has been seen that many of the opposition parties have also extended their support to the farmers during their protests. The farmers have issued a request to all the opposition leaders that they should raise their voices against the farm bills which might take away their livelihood.
