The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), a collective of 40 protesting farmer’s unions, on Sunday, announced that an All-Women Kisan Sansad will be marching at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Sunday, to mark the completion of the eighth month of protesting against the three farm laws. Convoys of women from various states and districts are reaching the borders of Delhi to join the Sansad to witness the hardship of eight months of protest by the Kisan Morcha.
Women Leading The Morcha
The SKM stated that the entire Kisan Sansad that is to be held on Sunday will be conducted solely by women only. This All-Women Kisan Sansad will represent the role of women in Indian agriculture and also in the protest against the three farm laws.

Jai Kisan Morcha also tweeted that a convoy of 200 women, as the Delhi government has allowed, have left from the Singhu border to join the Mahila Kisan morcha.
Opposition To Support Kisan Morcha
To mark the protest against the farm laws, opposition parties were also seen entering the parliament with the posters stating “Repeal the Farm laws” in their hands, on the same day as All-Women Kisan Sansad.

Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Congress, the opposition party, was also seen entering the parliament area through Vijay Chowk on a tractor to show his support for farmers.
