Experts across the world have researched a strange emotional disorder, which they have labeled as Peter Pan Syndrome. It is not as cute as the fictitious character of Neverland who causes mischief and trouble in the lives of the pesky pirates.

What Is Peter Pan Syndrome?
Peter Pan syndrome has been described as a disorder in which the emotional growth of a person is relatively stunted. It is almost like being a child in an adult’s body, who lacks the emotional and social maturity to understand and function in the adult world. People who are suffering from this syndrome are mostly male. They are moody, aggressive, and have severely narcissistic behavior toward others. This behavior can be managed with the help of proper counseling and assistance.
The syndrome is named after the famous mischievous Disney cartoon, Peter Pan. There are other emotional disorders that have been found in many Disney characters. For example, it is often stated that Belle from Beauty and the Beast suffered from severe Stockholm syndrome.
