It seems that Mumbai is facing one calamity after the other at a stretch. The southwest monsoon rains have arrived at Mumbai, and the city is now flooding with water. The rain has flooded every portion of the financial capital along with the neighborhoods that surround it. As heavy rains lashed upon the city and nearby areas, the Indian Meteorological Department issued a notice about water logging and other fatal possibilities. The train services have been disrupted in many places across the city.
IMD Issues Warning For Mumbai Monsoon Arrival
IMD has issued a warning for Mumbai and the areas like Thane, Palghar, and Raigarh districts. Isolated areas are supposed to receive heavy amounts of rainfall during the day hours. The satellite observations have shown that intense spells of rainfall can be observed in suburban areas. There is a strong possibility of thunder and lightning in these areas as well. This forecast was made on Wednesday, 2:30 pm. IMD has also informed that the rainy spells might go on for several hours and cause waterlogging in most areas of the city.

Local Train Services Barred For Some Time In Mumbai
Local train services in Mumbai had to be suspended for some time because of the water logging in every other area. The transport wings including, public buses and other such vehicles, have also been suspended because of waterlogging. The monsoon seasons often bring joy to most of the states. This is, however, true for the areas which have seasonal crops. Within the next 2 or 3 days, the area is supposed to gain a huge amount of rainfall.
There was inundation in many parts of the city as the first part of the rainfalls began. The tracks of the stations like Sion and Chunabhatti on the Central Route were completely submerged in the rainwater.

A Hard Time For Mumbai
