PM Modi Trip To Continue For 5 Days In Rome

PM Narendra Modi made his visit to Rome on 29th October. PM Modi trip will include his G2o summit. He will be representing India in this summit and he will also have other meetings besides this summit. The COP26 summit will be within 5 days. This will be held in Glasgow. 

The conference will be very important for the nation as it is indicated towards the climatic tracking of the world. India will be present to note the holistic approach which is related to the protection of the environment.

Events Of PM Modi Trip

PM Modi’s trip will also include his meetings with the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission. This will be an important trip for diplomatic relations with the European countries. He has also paid his tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in his memorial which is situated in Rome. His interaction with the Indian diaspora has been quite important as they had turned up in large numbers in the meeting. 

PM Modi also had a meeting on the very day of his arrival with the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. It has been rumored that this meeting talked about the increasing diplomatic relationships between the two nations. PM Modi was given a guard of honor while he went to meet the Italian Prime Minister.

The Upcoming Highlights Of The Trip

The prime minister’s trip will also include his meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican City. He has meetings with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the president of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. 

Along with this, there are scheduled meets with the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hosein Loong. This will mark the second day of the PM Modi trip this session. In the upcoming days, the prime minister will also meet the heads of other nations in order to discuss strategies of running diplomatic relations.
