Massive traffic jams have emerged in different parts of Delhi because of the protests against the farm laws in different parts of the national capital. The commuters have complained about the rising traffic due to the changed routes. Police have alerted most of the people about the closed streets so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience while traveling. Most of the calls regarding the traffic jams have been received from New Delhi, Dhaula Kuan, and Karol Bagh areas. The ITO stretch is choked with a huge number of vehicles and some of the hospitals are also suffering due to massive traffic jams.

Work By The Delhi Police

Delhi Police have focused on heavy barricades and have installed several security cameras in order to keep track of the protests against the farm laws by several hundreds of farmers. Roads near the Jharoda Khan border have been closed and the commuters have been asked to completely avoid the routes of farmers’ protests. It seems that the authorities do not want the civilians to come close to the farmer rallies. Many sections of society are raising questions regarding the inability of the government to provide the right solution for the farmers.

The Cause Of Protests Against The Farm Laws  

The farmers have accumulated on Delhi borders to protest against the three farm laws which might take away the livelihood of millions of farmers across the country. The protests have now spread out to different parts of the nation and most of the states have announced their solidarity with the farmers’ demands for MVP for their crops and other goods. The protests have been going on for nearly one year now without any kind of response from the government. This has really brought into question whether the farm laws will be changed or not!
