The board for the selection of Punjab Subordinate Services (PSSSB) has invited applications for the post of clerks. It has released a notification that says applications for the post of clerks and data entry operators (DEO) will be accepted from the 15th of May, 2022. There are 1200 empty posts, all of which are expected to be filled up in this PSSSB clerk recruitment drive. The last day to fill in the application for becoming a clerk is 15th June 2022. The Vacancies for PSSSB Clerk Post

There are about 1200 vacancies currently. The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board, PSSSB is inviting candidates to kick start their careers. The notification for the same has been released on the 15th of May. The notification mentions that out of the 1200 vacancies, 917 are for clerks while 283 are for clerks legal.

Required Qualifications for PSSSB Clerk Post

There are a few qualifications that the candidate must fulfill in order to become a clerk with the state government of Punjab. The qualifications are:

  • The candidate must be between the ages of 18 to 37. Candidates must fall in this age group in order to apply for the position of clerks
  • The candidate must have completed his/her graduation from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must qualify for a test which is to be held by the hiring authorities under the government of Punjab.
  • The candidate must also qualify for a typing test with a typing speed of 30 words per minute or more in English as well as Punjabi.

How To Apply For PSSSB, PSSSB Clerk?

Candidates can apply for this post by filling up an application form which is available on the website sssb.punjab.gov.in. General candidates who are filling up the application form will have to pay a fee of INR 1000, while those belonging to the reserved category will have to pay an application fee of INR 250.

PSSSB Test Pattern

PSSSB will have to appear for a test before they are selected for the post of PSSB clerk. The type will consist of 100 objective-type questions and the candidate will have 120 minutes to appear for the exam. Candidates can appear for the test in both English and Punjabi.
