India has always been one of the countries which are populated beyond the normal measures. However, recently it has been observed that the population rate in India has reached a stabilizing value. This has not been the contribution of education in the nation. The total fertility rate in India has come to a lower value due to several factors.
This has been found in a survey which has stated that the average number of children per family has reduced to two over the past few years. The survey which was conducted in 2015 and 2016 has shown that the average number of children to be 2.2.
The Decreased Fertility Rate In India Other Than Few States
The total fertility rate in India has reduced in most of the states other than a few. The states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand have not shown any kind of change in the fertility rate. The health ministry has found out that the second phase of the survey is providing better results than usual.
The surveys which are related to the fertility rate in the nation had not been conducted over the last two years because of the Covid-19 situation. The disruption has shown that the fertility rate of the nation has reduced to a large extent.
The Use Of Contraceptives In The Nation
The use of modern contraceptives has shown that there has been a drastic fall in the fertility rate of the women of the nation. There are some needs of family planning which are not adopted in the nation. A significant decline in the total number of children per family might be hopeful for the nation for the upcoming times. The sex ratio during the time of birth has also been quite good. This might be a new beginning for the nation which has been dealing with the issues of the population for a long time.
