The way in which there has been a rise in covid cases in the country is indeed concerning. Total Rise In Covid Cases In Kerala And Maharashtra
Kerala has been one of the significant contributors to this rise in covid cases in the country. According to the information that has been derived from the government, there were about 32,801 cases last Saturday and this has been continuing for quite a long time. The positivity rate of the state is now at 19.22%. It had been 18.03% on 26th August. If the state is not able to curb the total number of cases within the stipulated time, it might become the epicenter of the third wave of the pandemic in India.
Maharashtra has been quite affected as well. It has the highest number of cases and reported about 170 deaths within the last 24 hours. The fatality rate in Maharashtra is 2.12%. This has been significant in the total rise in covid cases as well.
Recovery Of Delhi
Virus-related deaths have reduced in Delhi. In fact, the national capital has not reported any covid related death from the past few days. The positivity rate is a mere 0.06%. This is quite hopeful for the nation and it proves that the rate of infection can be reduced with proper precautionary measures. Delhi had been most affected during the second wave of the pandemic.
