Taking birth in the minds of Martin Eberhard, Elon Musk, JB Straubel, Ian Wright and Marc Tarpenning in July 2003, Tesla caters to the need for sustainable electric vehicles of humans amidst the growing concern of fuel-run vehicles. The company reached the heights of its zenith under the able leadership of the current Chief Executing Officer (CE0), Elon Musk.
With each car possessing state of the art machinery which ultimately paves the path for a better future, each feature is unique in its own way. The latest feature known as the ‘Enable Vehicle Sync’ feature has attracted quite some attention from the public.
The Cloud Profile Feature
Electronic vehicle company Tesla is currently trying to create a driver profile so that they can move the same into the cloud for backing up the driver’s profile. The new feature named, Cloud Profile, provides the user with the option to enable vehicle sync for individual driver profiles. This feature, for sure, would be a huge help for those who share a Tesla but its greater impact will be when the company releases their latest and much-awaited Tesla Network- a self-driving, ride-hailing, and car-sharing network.
Elon Musk on Cloud Profiles:
According to the reports of the company, this feature would be released by the end of this year. It was started by Elon Musk that the cloud-synced profiles were on the way and everyone can anticipate the feature to be available in a software update. He also talked in an interview about the possibilities of putting up user profiles into the cloud storage, so that in a new tesla vehicle, all the details can be automatically installed for the driver’s easy use.
The Lost Contract Details Between Tesla & Hertz:
An US-based rental car company, Hertz claimed that it ordered around 100,000 Tesla vehicles. But Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla stated that no such contract was formed. But Hertz keeps on pestering on with their claims of the contract, as was seen in the latest interview with Hertz where the company informed that the deliveries of vehicles from Tesla have started.
“As we announced last week, Hertz has made an initial order of 100,000 Tesla electric vehicles and is investing in new EV (electric vehicle) charging infrastructure across the company’s global operations,” – one of the spokeswomen of Hertz quoted to the press. After Elon Musk’s tweet, the company refused to disclose any further details.
Tesla is indeed advancing with its features for its customers which can be reflected in the daily updates from the company. However, Tesla has had its share of controversies as well as can be deciphered from the Hertz case.
