Shradh or Pitru Paksha is a 16-day period in which people remember and pay respect to their ancestors. This sacred event in Hindu culture is marked by offering prayers, food, and daan to the needy, animals and the priests in the temple.
Do and Don'ts in Shradh
1. Offer food and clothes to the Brahmin in shraddh days. 2. Every morning and evening, Remember and Worship for your ancestors. 3. Organize Pooja and Offers prayers by doing Pitru Tarpan through a priest or brahmin.
