Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla had made an offer to buy the social media platform Twitter. They have reached an agreement at $44 billion. Twitter which was previously a public company would soon become private. 

Elon musk had not been very gentle to the management team of Twitter. Further, he had also said that he does not have confidence in Twitter’s management and would not pay them a single dollar if he had acquired the company.

Although Elon Musk does not seem very grateful for the team. Parag Agarwal had said that there are no plans to drop off the previous employees. He has said that he would get a chance to speak to the Tesla Owner.

However, in case Parag Agarwal plans to leave the company within 12 months, he would get $42 million according to reports. This amount has been calculated by including his salary for a year and his equity returns.
