There are certain surveys which are conducted all over the world which prove the state of the nation in various terms. It has been proven in World Inequality that India is one of the most unequal countries in terms of wealth all over the world. As it has been said in the report, in the top 1% of the population in India, there is about 21.7% of the wealth amassed by the nation as a whole. The bottom 50% on the other hand has made just 13.2% of the money. The World Inequality Report has been quite shocking for the entire nation as a whole.
World Inequality Report Mediated By Lucas Chancel
The report has been moderated by Lucas Chancel. He is the co-director of the World Inequality Report and this has been coordinated by several other experts in the field as well. The report has been very clear in the statement that India is a devastatingly poor country that has a set of rich and affluent people who amass wealth.
This is the true trend of the nationality which has not paid any kind of attention to the lower groups of the nation. This also begs an answer to the question, what is the government doing in terms of various schemes it has designed for the poor?
