The latest K drama series has used the Palat scene of Shah Rukh Khan from DDLJ, and this has been great news for all the fans. The fourth scene of a very famous Korean drama featuring Lee Do-Hyun and Go Min-Si has been seen to perform something similar to the turning scene used in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge by Shah Rukh and Kajol.
The Scene In Korean Drama
In the fourth episode of the Korean drama, we can see the romantic interests of the series, Lee Do-Hyun and Go Min-Si are walking back home. They have to part ways for the night, and as the heroine walks away, her love interest starts to think that “I hope she turns back.” He starts chanting, “Look back! Look back!” She finally looks back, and then he breaks down to confess his feelings.
Scene By SRK And Kajol
This scene is exactly similar to the one acted out by SRK and Kajol, their blockbuster of the 90s, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. As Raj, played by SRK, helped Simran, played by Kajol, to board the train, he starts to think that she must have been in love with him if she looks back after parting ways. And voila, much to our happiness and Raj’s, of course, Simran does turn back, and Bollywood gets a blasting love story.
Indians are more attracted to the genre of Korean Dramas in recent hours. This scene has caught the eyes of many Indians, and they have described it as getting pure “DDLJ” vibes. It was almost like chanting “Palat” for SRK was as similar as Lee Do-Hyun doing it.
The Rising Popularity Of Korean Drama
The Korean drama is Youth of May, which is shown on KBS, the Korean channel. The story is about a love affair which was carried out in May of 1980. The story shows the love of two couples in times of turbulence. There is joy, happiness, sadness, and anger in these couples, and they have been able to grab our attention perfectly. Just like any other Indian story which could have won our hearts, Korean Drama has certainly made a place for itself.
