Politics cannot be as clean as water, no matter how good members you affiliate for your party. There will always be a time when you will think about what could have gone possibly wrong with some leaders. Let us all check out the Indian political leaders who have cases against them. Fair warning, most of these cases are heinous.
1. Yogi Adityanath
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has quite a long history of criminal cases trailing behind him. These cases range from hate speech (which continues even to date) to even attempt to murder. He has also been heard to give impetus to the riots between Hindus and Muslims in Uttar Pradesh. He is the most notorious among political leaders in India.
2. Amit Shah
The second name on the list is the Home Minister of India. Amit Shah has quite a few extreme cases trailing behind him, which have been closed for now. These cases include kidnapping, illegal surveillance, and even charges of murder. He had been accused of killing Sohrabuddin Sheikh, his wife Kauser Bi, and his associate Tulsiram Prajapati in 2010. Justice Loya died suspiciously during the case proceedings of Amit Shah.
3. Nitish Kumar
The current and most consistent Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, has charges of rioting and attempt to murder since 1991. It is quite surprising to note how Kumar is adept in visiting out of these legal situations. The murder case has been dropped for now.
4. Fagan Singh Kulaste
Kulaste is a member of Lok sabha who is facing charges of criminal intimidation and wrongful restraint. He is also accused of rioting with illegal weapons and causing harm to people voluntarily. He was also the former minister of state for Health and Family welfare. Right now, the cases against him shut down.
5. Shankar Chaudhary
Shankar Chaudhari has been the minister of Medical education and advanced development in Gujarat. He has charges related to riots and trespassing in the criminal order. He was also involved in a case of fake MBA. It seems like the roots of evil begin in Gandhi’s birthplace.
6. Anupriya Patel
Patel is currently the Minister for Health and Family Welfare in Uttar Pradesh. Several cases are lining up behind her. Most of them are related to rioting, possession of illegal weapons, and destruction of evidence.
7. Uma Bharti
The full-time saffron crusader is no stranger to crime. She is the temporary Cabinet minister for drinking water and sanitation. Her scale of the crime is disturbing because of several atrocities. It has been claimed that she tried to divide different groups based on religion and try to deter different public servants. Her statements are also said to have induced public rage during the times of Babri masjid demolition.
8. Mukul Roy
Mukul Roy had been a part of the Trinamool Congress for several years of his political career. During that time, he was accused of taking bribes for his party. The event had been proved as well because of the sting operation carried out by the Narada group. Presently he is serving in Bhartiya Janata Party.
9. Raosaheb Danve
This Maharashtra BJP President had been accused of unlawful possession of property and rioting and also of deterring a public servant from duty and intentionally promoting hate speech within the state.
10. Sanjeev Kumar
Sanjeev Kumar has been accused of different types of criminal impositions over public servants, including sexual harassment against several women within and outside his party.
These are some cases filed against the political leaders of India, and they have been canceled out as well. It shows that politics can indeed be the dirtiest place for your career and life if you are considering it as a career.
