At the launch event of the first iPhone, Steve Jobs stated the most memorable lines till now, “An iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator. An iPod, a phone…. Are you getting it?”
Following this line, he also quoted, “We’re gonna use the best pointing device in the world.” With this, he introduced the multi-touch feature, which is still the best feature of the first iPhone overview. He said, “We’re gonna use the best pointing device in the world. We’re gonna use a pointing device that we’re all born with, we’re born with ten of them. We’re gonna use our fingers. We’re gonna touch these with our fingers.”
