Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of New Delhi Union Territory has been invited to showcase the beauty of India’s culture in front of the World Cities Cultural Forum (WCCF).
World Cities Cultural Forum Invitation
Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has been invited by the mayor of London, Mr. Sadiq Khan to this particular event. He has been informed that there will be several other countries that will showcase their own culture and heritage at this event. All nations need to appreciate each other’s worth in the sphere of culture and diversity. Every nation has its own rich culture which can be described as nothing but authentic and majestic.
The world cities cultural forum consists of every large city in the world. This includes Delhi, New York, Tokyo, and a few more. It is important to inculcate these values in the indigenous people. So that they do not forget their own ancestry and roots. Mr. Kejriwal has been invited to hold the dignity of India in front of the other major and developed countries of the world.
Mr. Kejriwal had stated that he is very proud that his city Delhi has been selected to be represented in such a huge forum. He hopes that this event will pave the way for Delhi to stand up as a world enigma in terms of culture and leadership. Delhi does have a rich history. Many kings and monarchs have ruled in India till freedom was claimed from the Britishers. It is a proud moment for India when her colonizers have asked their representative to showcase the rich culture in front of other communities.

In the midst of several issues for India, it has become very apparent that this is a very proud moment for the nation. Delhi has its own inherent culture. Mr. Kejriwal had stated that he will discuss the devastating effects of the covid-19 pandemic and how Delhi has recovered from this state. He has also promised to state the initiatives taken by the AAP government to promote and democratize the role of culture in shaping a city.
