With the exclusive dialogue of Hemant Shah, saying that the system and the government have to run several miles after in order to get to him. The Big Bull is a grand success even in the terms of the trailer. The movie has been made on the life of a Mumbai trailing stockbroker or Harshad Mehta financial scam. One who changes the course of the Indian stock market with some well-placed changes and offers. The film is set in the era of the 80s in Mumbai.

The trailer itself has given us a peek into the development and fall of the stockbroker who ruled the wind direction of the Bombay Stock Exchange. Instead of using the name Harshad Mehta, the directors decided to use the name, Hemant Shah. This promises us that it will not be a documentary but a real story with some basic creative liberties at hand. The Big Bull is special as it marks the entry of Abhishek Bachchan after a long interval. He had played the dark horse in many of the films and his wait has resulted in this sweet outcome of being the sole protagonist. The classic look of junior Bachchan in suit pieces has boggled the eyes of many fans and reinvigorated the memories of Guru, 2007. The Big Bull release date is 8th April 2021

Comparison Between Scam 1992 & The Big Bull

Although The Big Bull has been led by one of the most prestigious productions of contemporary Indian Cinema, the Ajay Devgan Production. It has to be said that even by the standard of the trailer that The Big Bull has never reached the standards of Scam 1992. Let us get a bit into the details of Scam 1992.

Scam 1992 is a previous release in the market that stars Pratik Gandhi and has the same storyline. It is not being considered as one of the finest series made in Indian cinema which has fabricated fact and fiction perfectly. Pratik Gandhi has provided us with an absolute masterpiece of the portrayal of the character of Harshad Mehta. The sharp character did not need any kind of extra rap music or blasting Bollywood style dialogues to create a sense of loathing and admiration within us. The sound and light effects of Scam 1992 are so perfect that no one can ever compete with this movie even in the next few years.

Although The Big Bull, Abhishek Bachchan tried to reach and cross the benchmark which has been set by Scam 1992, it has failed miserably. Junior Bachchan carried nothing but his looks and deep voice in the character. Pratik Gandhi on the other hand, was perfect in the cast as he relied not on the skills of his popularity, but his acting skills only. Most of the netizens have written sizzling criticisms about The Big Bull and compared it relentlessly with Scam 1992. It may seem unfair to junior Bachhan but his skills just did not match up with that of Gandhi.

Scam 1992 Versus The Big Bull: The Winner

It has been quite clear till now that Scam 1992 has been a grand success and definitely, a better series to watch in comparison to The Big Bull. Although it might not be that fair to the efforts made by Abhishek Bachchan. It simply did not reach the levels we had expected. It must be said here that creative liberties are one thing. But changing the course of the story entirely in order to fit the appearance of the actor does not seem good directing skills. There are some extra “Bollywood Masala” in The Big Bull as well. This has ruined the overall trailer for the ones who had been awaiting its release.

Scam 1992 Versus The Big Bull: The Winner

The clear winner, in this case, is Scam 1992 but it will be judicious of us to keep our judgments reserved till we have actually seen The Big Bull. However, the trailer has disappointed us to a certain extent. One can be sure that the movie will not reach the passable levels. Although there are some great stars in The Big Bull. We have to wait till the movie is released to make the full judgment.

Conclusion

Right now the movie lovers have the choice to wait out for The Big Bull to be released out in the theatres. We have to see whether the movie is a better amalgamation than the trailer or not. As the audience, we will decide the fate of the movie. It will be for the best if we keep our biases behind and decide whether The Big Bull is good enough as Scam 1992 or not.
