With many brands releasing their new products and trying to capture the tech world’s attention, Lenovo, the Chinese manufacturer, launched its new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Carbon which is branded as the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon outside of North America. The company claims that their latest release is the lightest 14-inch OLED laptop that is currently available on the market, which is true as it weighs only around 2.37 pounds, beating the previous models of this category, such as Asus’ ZenBook 14X OLED, ZenBook 13 OLED, and the Dell XPS 13 OLED.
What Makes This Laptop The Best?
The striking and notable feature is the OLED panel (from Samsung Display) which is not the normal 4k resolution that we always see in computers. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Carbon has the QHD+ resolution, which means more pixels, much more clarity, and more impact!
The other thing that they have incorporated in the field of display would be a 16:10 ratio with a refresh rate of 90Hz, which will cover 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and will reach 600 nits of brightness.
Most of the tech experts have stated this model has stolen the show from almost all of the promised Samsung updates, thus taking a big step against the Korean company. Until and unless Samsung releases the new updates that are better than these features, it would be difficult to stand against this release.

What’s Inside Of This Laptop?
Now it’s time to unpack the insides. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Carbon has an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U, Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics card, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of storage. According to the claims of this Chinese company, it has a 61Whr battery that is said to last up to 14.5 hours. It’s a 2-in-1 laptop-tablet hybrid running Chrome OS with access to Google Play.
Most of the users would think that this model would not be durable to the low weight. But standing strong against this, Lenovo stated that this model has gone through “nine operational tests” for durability, and the model could fight against all the odds.
