For the time being, the government of India is trying to speed up the process of vaccination in the hope that the people will receive higher immunization against the disease. There are two indigenous vaccines of India, Covaxin, and Covishield, which have proved to be quite effective in reducing the extent of the disease in many individuals. Some other vaccines are designed by companies like Pfizer as well. Sputnik V vaccine has also proved to be quite helpful to prevent virus transmission.
