Despite his quick rise to success, Ashutosh Kaushik had been accused of drunk driving quite a few years ago. He has requested the Delhi High Court to remove certain images of himself from the internet, based on his “rights to be forgotten”. Ashutosh Kaushik has stated that he is repenting for his crime and this should not be something that destroys his future as well.
Charges Against Ashutosh Kaushik
Ashutosh Kaushik had been accused in a case of driving under influence in 2009 and later in a brawl at a restaurant in 2013. Both of these events had been recorded and they had been released on the internet as well. Ashutosh has shared his thoughts on this matter. He has said that he repents for the things he has done and that those things are finally in the past. He has also shared stories where prospective matches for marriage would come to him and later find the videos and images. This would lead them to decline the match because no one wants their girl to get married to a drunkard.

Plea By The Former Roadies Star
Ashutosh Kaushik has shared that this is way more painful for his mother who has tried to forget the entire event. Every time the images come up, she feels ashamed for her son. It has almost been a decade since the event. Kaushik believes that he also has the right to go back to normal life now. He has approached the Delhi High Court so that the images and videos can be brought down.
