Ola recently launched its first e-scooter on 15th August in India. There are two variants of the scooter – Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. The sale of Ola S1 will be starting from 8th September 2021 across 1000 cities and towns in the country. Here is all the information regarding the models of the brand new Ola electric scooter.

Specifications Of Ola Electric Scooter 

Ola S1 is completely automatic, which does not require a key. It has a digital key that can be paired with the phone and can lock and unlock the scooter automatically depending on the distance between the phone and the scooter. It has a multi-microphone array and AI speech recognition that has been built in-house in the scooter. 

Ola electric scooter has a bright 7-inch touch screen display and an anti-theft alert system. It also includes a hill-hold feature that helps users to easily navigate and ride in traffic. It has a battery and front and rear disc brakes.

Battery And Speed

The scooters will work at the range of 181 km, speed of 115 kmph, and an acceleration of 0-40 kmph in 3.0 seconds. The battery capacity is 3.97kWH, and it has a powerful motor capacity with a power of 8.5 KW. The scooter comes with a Battery Management System (BMS) that is responsible for monitoring the range, performance, and durability of the battery.

Design 

Both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro scooters are available in satin, matte, and glossy finish. It has iconic twin headlamps, sculpted seats, and a fluidic body. It has an amazing boot space that can store two helmets easily.

Colors 

Ola S1 is available in five colors – black, white, yellow, red, and sky blue. On the other hand, Ola S1 Pro will be available in ten colors that include black, white, gray, silver, gold, pink, navy blue, sky blue, red, and yellow.

Price

The prize of Ola S1 starts at Rs 99,999 and Ola S1 Pro starts at Rs 1,29,999. In the states with the availability of subsidy grants, the Ola S1 will be more affordable. In Delhi, Ola S1 after subsidy will be available for Rs. 85,099. On the other hand, in Gujarat, it is available for Rs. 79,999. The company has also tied up with banks for offering EMI plans to their customers starting at Rs 2,999.
