However, this year the team has been able to bag 36 medals for its country. In a total count, the athletes have been able to bring home 10 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze medals. With this tremendously successful collection of medals, the country has been placed seventh in the overall ranking in the Summer Olympics at Tokyo, 2020.

In lieu of the achievements of the Netherlands, the Olympics have been a brighter event to watch. The Tokyo Olympics have been a pride to watch for many of the countries as records were broken with the athletes having another year to train. It might be a bit tough to prepare for the Paris Olympics, but it is believed that the players will give their best in order to train for the next Games.
