PM Modi in Punjab has been under a severe security alert in the nation. Several people had gathered on the roads, mostly belonging to the groups of farmers, to protest the visit of PM Modi in Punjab. The event was so serious that the prime minister had to escape from the situation with the help of his security authorities.
This has been one of the most unprecedented events which had taken place in India till now. The protesting farmers had not moved from their positions when they had gathered on the streets. It is expected that they will continue their protests in the same manner.
PM Modi In Punjab Restricted
The protesting farmers in Punjab had already stated that they did not believe in the rule of Modi anymore because of the way in which they had suffered during their one-year-long farmer’s protest.
It has also been mentioned that the security authorities have refused to take Modi to his venue because of the thin audience in his meeting. The sudden change in the route presented to Modi has been due to the protesting farmers. It has also been rumored that the people did not visit the meeting of Narendra Modi as a planned act throughout the area.
Relationship Deteriorates Between Government And Farmers
PM Modi in Punjab had been rebuffed before as well. He had not been accepted in the state in any of the moments. After the farmer’s protests In Delhi, the relationship between the government and the farmers of Punjab became even more strained.
