During the trailer launch of Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar stated a very emotional speech about working with co-star Ajay Devgan, “I have made 135 films, and for the first time, I am watching such a huge crowd. Rohit has made a fabulous movie. I hope the audience will like it. Ajay (Devgn) and I started our careers together, and we have reached here, where we have done so many films together. He also quoted, “It feels good when I get an opportunity to wear the police uniform. We all are lucky to get opportunities where we play such great roles.”
Producer Karan Johar quoted the following at the trailer launch, “There is palpable excitement in the room. I don’t think in my years of producing and making films I have seen so much energy for the release of a trailer and justifiably so, because this is a universe that Hindi cinema hasn’t seen. This is the first time that Indian cinema has a universe like this where you have a coalition of three mega movie stars.”
The expectation is sky-high for all the actors and producers and there’s no doubt the sale of this movie would cross this expectation.

The Rohit Shetty Cop Universe And Their Link With Sooryavanshi
This movie can be stated as an addition to the known world of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The character that Akshay Kumar plays in Sooryavanshi is Veer Sooryavanshi. It was introduced in Ranveer Singh’s 2018 film Simmba as an Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer.
Actor Ajay Devgan’s role in this cop series made by Rohit Shetty is unforgettable and unnegotiable as he played a major role in the first two films.
