The film, The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri has been released in ISL (Indian sign language) so that even deaf people can see the story. The ISL version of The Kashmir Files will be released on Zee5. The Kashmir Files in Indian Sign Language is the first time that a Bollywood film has been released in sign language on any OTT platform. The interpretation of the film in the Indian sign language was performed by the ISH news, which is a platform for awareness for deaf people living in India.

“The Kashmir Files” has created a significant stir in the Indian Cinema. The movie made its OTT premier on the 13th of May in Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada along with being launched in the Indian Sign Language.
Special Screening of The Kashmir Files in ISL
A special screening of The Kashmir Files in Indian Sign Language was also organised by the OTT platform Zee5. Around 500 people who are either deaf or have some hearing impairment witnessed the screening of The Kashmir Files in the Indian Sign Language.
Additionally, the special screening event was also witnessed by the actors Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar. The director Vivek Agnihotri also attended the event along with his wife.

The director Vivek Agnihotri believes that the story told in the movie “The Kashmir Files” is something everyone should know. Vivek Agnihotri had told, “We are glad that The Kashmir Files reached out to and resonated with so many people across the world, and now with ZEE5’s one-of-a-kind movie, the movie will be accessible not only in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada but also in Indian Sign Language. This is a story which must be told.”

The Actor Darshan Kumaar’s Belief
Darshan Kumaar, who has played a key role in the movie believes, “The Kashmir Files is a heart-wrenching story of pain, suffering, and struggle. I believe everyone should know about this story as it’s a reminder to the people of the world to stand united and fight against brutal acts of terrorism. It gives us a message to live in harmony and make this world a better place to live in.
