On the 7th of September, 2022, the tech giant, Apple, held its much-awaited event that they organize annually. This was the ‘far out’ event by Apple. This Apple Event 2022 saw the launch of many new technological gadgets including AirPods, Apple Watches as well as its new series, the iPhone 14 and other iPhone 14 variants. This series has four devices under its wrap: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Tim Cook, the CEO of the huge company, was the one who took on the responsibility of starting the Apple Event 2022. He talked about the items being introduced during the event. The Apple Watch, AirPods and iPhone 14 series were set up for a launch. He claimed the unprecedented innovations that Apple continues to master.
All iPhone 14 Variants launched in Apple Event 2022
1. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
Even though the iPhone 14 has many similar features to the 13th model, it still has certain modifications that set it apart from the previous model. A 6.7inch plus model has taken the place of the small size. They borrow several features from the iPhone 13 Pro models. These include the bigger wide camera sensor. The front camera now features an f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. This would improve the quality of photos taken in comparatively lower light.
A new algorithm is being used to process photos. Apple refers to the Photonic Engine, which preserves better information in low light from all of the phone’s cameras. And, according to Apple, it boasts an even longer lifespan than the iPhone 13. It is even available in new colours now, namely purple and blue.
2. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
There is not much difference between the sizes of the pro versions of the 13th iPhone series and the newest ones. There are some changes between the two though. There is a new wide sensor that is 48MP quad-pixel that boasts of capturing 12MP photos with greater resolution and supports a 2x optical zoom, the cameras have significantly improved. Even 48-megapixel ProRAW photos are possible. Due to its bigger size, the ultra-wide sensor ought to perform better in low light. Additionally, every camera now uses higher-quality Photonic Engine processing.
A new feature called the “Dynamic Eye” is also included in these phones. This is the small cutout almost in the shape of a pill that houses the front camera and sensors, but Apple has transformed it into an interactive, reactive, interactive space for updates, background tasks and notifications. Apple Watch
1. Apple Watch Series 8
Just like other devices launched, this also bears certain similarities to its predecessor. What’s new are, several new sensors that make it possible for performing functions related to health and safety. It has features keeping check of your body temperature as well as tracking your menstrual cycle based on your bodily functions. This also carries a gyroscope as well as an accelerometer. These help in contacting authorities in case you ever find yourself in an accident.
2. Apple Watch Series SE 2
Ever since the launch of the first version, this has been its very first upgrade. It has significantly bigger borders around the display compared to the above-mentioned model and it lacks always-on capabilities. It is also said to have doubled the resistance to water as the Series 8 and is approved for recreational diving down to a depth of 40 metres.

AirPods Pro 2nd Gen
Ever since their first launch, AirPods have witnessed massive success amongst the wider audience. They were, however, due for an upgrade as well. The new 2nd Generation is the first to use Apple’s new H2 chip, which allows for faster processing while using less battery. It produces improved sound quality (but not lossless) and up to twice as much noise cancelling capacity when used in conjunction with a new, proprietary low-distortion driver and amplifier. They have also increased the battery life for them, lasting for up to 6 hours.
There is also a new mode called the adaptive transparency mode. This adjusts to outside disturbances such as construction and will automatically boost noise cancellation in louder surroundings.
