Singapore Airlines jointly owned Vistara with TATA as a part of a conglomerate. The Singapore-based company is going to invest Rs 2,058.5 crore in Air India. This has been part of the Vistara Air India Merger till now.

Singapore Airlines has announced that the promised investment has been made through the requirement of internal cash resources. The values are stuck at $17.5 billion (Rs 1.42 lakh crore) till now.
SIA has announced that TATA has agreed to enter into the deal with some capital investment when required during the deal. Singapore Airlines has informed that capital injection via TATA will be near up to Rs 5,020 crore [$615 million]. This value will be paid only after the merger of Air India and Vistara is completed in its terms.
