Subhash Chandra Bose History, Early Life, And Education 

Subhash Chandra Bose was born on January 23rd, 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa, he was the 9th child of Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Devi. His father was a prosperous and influential person in the region. He completed his early education at the Ravenshaw Collegiate School in Cuttack. In 1917, he graduated from presidency college Calcutta with first-class honours in philosophy  (Bengali). He then went to England for higher studies at Fitzwilliam House at Cambridge University. 

In 1921, Bose qualified for M.Sc. (Natural Science Tripos) but he could not take it up due to a lack of funds as his father had already spent a large amount of money on his studies so he had to return home.

Bose In Politics – Subhash Chandra Bose In Germany

On meeting with leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and others, Bose was motivated to join Indian National Congress. Soon after joining, he successfully organized a boycott movement along with Chitranjan Das and got arrested on Christmas, 1921. He was again jailed in Mandalay under the new Bengal Law in October 1924, later on, released after two and a half years due to ill health as he suffered from tuberculosis. 

As per Subhash Chandra Bose history, he was active in politics during 1928-1937 and was arrested twice. His conflicts with the non-violent ideology of Gandhi banned him from Indian National Congress. The British government arrested Subhash Chandra Bose on 2nd July 1940, for inciting rebellion, which he managed to escape under disguise. 

He travelled to Germany via Moscow with the help of the Italian Embassy. Subhash Chandra Bose in Germany recruited the Indian prisoners of European wars to form Azad Hind Fauz for Indian Freedom. The presence of Subhash Chandra Bose in Germany was acknowledged by the higher officials of Germany, though it took a year for him to meet Adolf Hitler himself.

After his not-so-successful visit to Germany, Bose travelled to Japan via submarines. The disbandment of the Indian National Army was formed by the allegiance of Hikari Kikan and Mohan Singh as speculations were made that Japan only used the army as a pawn. Later, this thought of the army was revived by Bose, taking over the control of the Army. 

In Burma, on the 4th of July, 1944, the historical speech of Subhash Chandra Bose urged the Indians to join him in his army to fight British Rule and revive their freedom.

This speech of Subhash Chandra Bose included his most famous saying, “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom” and “Freedom is not given, it is taken.” In his speech, he assured the people of India that once he was released, he would do anything to take the country to greater heights than ever before.
