Apple will release the next ios version, that is iOS 16 on the 12th of September 2022. It is a free iOS update for iPhone 8 and higher models. The iOS 16 will be available from 10:00 A.M on the 12th of September according to the Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). The iOS 16 release date in India and time (for New Delhi) are 12 September and 22:30 respectively.
Navigate to the settings application on your iPhone and click on general settings followed by Software Update. A red update icon or update notification might also appear on your device. 2. iMessage
iOS version 16 features the ability to unsend and temporarily edit iMessages. The best option is that you can mark iMessages as unread even after you read the conversation. Pretty cool, isn’t it?
You can edit a message up to five times and the edited message with temporarily staying unchanged for 15 minutes. In order to edit a message, users can simply hold or tap on the message and choose the appropriate option from the displayed menus. Edited iMessages will be marked as “edited” below the message.
3. Music Player
Full-screen icon of the music player is reintroduced in iOS version 16. This feature last existed in the year 2016 in version 10 of iOS. Users also have the ability to minimize and maximize the icon of the music player on the lock screen.
4. Games Controller
This feature offers an additional Bluetooth facility to connect game controllers that includes Pro Controller and Nintendo Joy-Cons. iOS 16 installed iPhone can operate on either single right or single left of the Joy-Con controller or both can be used simultaneously as a single controller.
5. Tracking Apple Orders
This is an in-built feature that allows the user to keep track of all the information regarding orders purchased via Apple pay. The estimated date of delivery will be indicated through this.
6. No need for an Apple Watch
The fitness application present in apple watches is now present in iPhones themselves. Users can easily track their daily activity with the motion sensors present in the iPhone through which the calories burnt and steps walked per day can be calculated.
