The leader of the French league, Paris Saint-Germain or PSG, pulled off another spectacular win against Montpellier on 25th September. This had been their eighth straight win in this season and it seems that they have several more feathers to add to their hat. The final score of PSG versus Montpellier stood at 2-0. The entire game had shown the perfect level of coordination between the players of PSG. Each goal had the contribution of the entire team and it is expected that they will keep up their great play in the upcoming matches as well!
Goals By PSG
Idrissa Gueye, the midfielder, had scored the very first goal in the 14th minute of the game. Mbappe had intended to pass the ball to Neymar, but it reached the feet of Angel di Maria with sheer luck. He immediately passed the ball to Gueye who did not take much time to lead the ball into the net.
The second goal of the game was contributed by Julian Draxler in the 88th minute. He netted the ball into the goal post by slotting it through the ranks of Neymar. The goal was shot from the right side of the penalty area. It had indeed been a great performance by the PSG players.

The Present And Absent Players
To the disappointment of many, superstar player of PSG, Lionel Messi, was unable to be in the last two games of the season due to a sore knee. It is expected that he will get well before the Champions League match against Manchester City. Keylor Navas, the standout goalkeeper of the match, also displayed a huge amount of skill when he was able to block the best shots from Montpellier as well. Stephy Mavididi, the English forward, had kicked the ball from the side of Montpellier but Navas deflected his goal quite effortlessly.
