There have been some grave suspicions about the death of Mahant Narendra Giri Maharaj as his body has been found hanging in Prayagraj. The seer is said to have committed suicide by hanging himself. He has also left behind a suicide note which has named Yoga Guru Anand Giri as being responsible for his death.
Presently, Yoga Guru has been detained by the police in Prayagraj in order to verify the claims made against him in the suicide note. The people who had been working at and visiting the Math during the time of death are also being interrogated by the police of Uttar Pradesh.
Suicide Note Of Mahant Narendra Giri Maharaj Found
Mahant Narendra Giri Maharaj had been found in his ashram in Prayagraj by one of his disciples. Prashant Kumar, the UP ADG, has informed that they are looking very closely into the people who have been held accountable for his death in the suicide note. It might also be possible that there has been some foul play in order to frame the Yoga Guru and some other people named in the note. Nothing can be said definitively until the post-mortem report reaches the police. The examinations are being conducted in order to verify if the death is murder or suicide.
