According to the story of Bakra Eid, Qurbaani forms a major part of Eid ul Zuha. If we refer to Bakrid meaning, we can easily understand that Qurbaani is an act of sacrificing animals during Bakrid. The Qurbaani is performed by every Muslim around the world in honour and remembrance of the sacrifice that Prophet Ibrahim was willing to commit as his unmatched devotion to Allah!
